Social and Emotional Learning Groups

Building Life Skills Through Animal Connections

Our after-school or weekend social and emotional learning (SEL) groups provide children with fun, educational experiences that build essential life skills. These non-therapeutic programs use positive interactions with our farm animals to help children develop emotional awareness, healthy relationships, and confidence in a relaxed, supportive environment.

What to Expect

Children participate in carefully structured activities with our horses, donkeys, mini horses, and goats while working on social skills, emotional regulation, and personal growth goals. They also participate in crafts, art and nature-based activities designed to help them accomplish takes as a team. Our licensed therapist guides the group through activities designed to build confidence, encourage healthy peer relationships, and provide opportunities to practice new skills in a safe, fun environment.
