Christina Fajardo, LMHC
Christina Fajardo is the founder of Theraherd. She specializes in child and family mental health. She is a certified equine-assisted psychotherapist utilizing the EAGALA model and certified animal-assisted therapy specialist.
For over 13 years, she has worked with clinical issues of trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, postpartum, parent child interactions, attachment, child behavior issues, social and emotional learning, human development, transition/ adjustment issues and relational issues. She speaks English and Spanish fluently.

Macala Rose
DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS OPERATIONS
Macala works as AI ethicist, behavioral researcher, and analyst. She joined Theraherd in order to help build the practice and manage back of house operations. She’s also a lifelong equestrian passionate about mindfulness and mental health accessibility.

Annalise Virdi
MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR (INTERN) + EQUINE SPECIALIST
Annalist is our clinical mental health intern brings over three years of professional experience in the field of equine-assisted services. Guided by a deep appreciation for the healing connection between humans and horses, Annalise is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Internships and Clinical Hours
TheraHerd currently offers Graduate Student internship and practicum opportunities utilizing the EAGALA ( Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association) model for Equine assisted Psychotherapy. Christina Fajardo, LMHC is also an approved Supervisor through WA state DOH for Associate level mental health counselors and offers both on site and virtual supervision under contract.
